Flowers in the Gardens

An Ode to Margaret Higgins Sanger. Do some research, find the truth.

She is the spider that builds the fortress in the bush
Inviting all to come in and buy what she is trying to push
Her life’s work is to never let the flowers bloom
Keeping your population down once she get’s you into her room

Will God forgive her if she caused you any pain?
Will God forgive you if you played along with her game?
Unknowingly you may have turned yourself into prey
Every flower should know how the sunlight can feel like rain

Into the new world
This world in which you came
Into the new world
Where you received your name
These beautiful flowers deserve to have the same
Here in your gardens
Where your flowers await their fate
They are meant to come into this new world
Where the sunlight can feel like rain upon their faces

She talks to preachers, whispers in their ears
Pretends she is Jesus, so they believe in what they hear
And just like Judas, they began to act on their fear
Spreading poison through the gardens, so the flowers would all disappear

During the night comes the passion
Which one of you will take the blame?
Why should the miracle of life cause you any pain?
The spider in the bush wants you to feel ashamed
Because she never had any real love for you anyway

Into the new world
This world in which you came
Into the new world
Where you received your name
These beautiful flowers deserve to have the same
Here in your gardens
Where your flowers await their fate
They are meant to come into this new world
Where the sunlight can feel like rain upon their faces
